Dance O’Clock is a dance competition that is going to be held at the end of May in Deira International School. This fantastic idea was proposed by Anam Kibria and Shakti Gupta. Their two page proposal form was praised highly by the school’s senior management as it showed great care and thought for their love of dance and how they wanted to show the great volume of talent in DIS. You can enter this brilliant competition by picking up an entry form beside the poster in the foyer and return it to Anam and Shakti as soon as possible. They are also looking for helpers on the day with ushering, tickets and scenery; people can help with more than one thing and it will count towards CAS or community service.

On the subject of fantastic ideas, there will be another computer racing tournament. The previous one, organised by Dean Vernooy was a great success and raised a lot of money for charity. The tournament will be held on June 16th, the day before end of term, and Dean is currently recruiting helpers for ticket sales, advertising and help on the day. Hopefully, this one will also go down without a hitch.

Good luck to everyone!
